After dropping off the flat rock
shelf to the right of the lone tree, we ate in shade by the pools
next to it.
The way out was along the hidden left side going up several lifts |

Camp at billabong II turned
out to be nothing short of fantastic. The tent area proved soft with
easy access.
A perfect site; flat, open, dotted with trees in blossom and a pool
I immediately entered to cool off and bathe.
I erected our tent without the fly so we could see the moon and stars
without being troubled by pesky insects or snakes while we slept. |

Classic Bradshaw art -
armlets, chilly bags dangling, headress flung back.
Created by chemically changing the rock composition to mulberry red
some thirty thousand years ago |
 |
 |
 |
| Graceful and poised, Bradshaw
art is perfectly balanced |
 |
 |
| The white turtle, found
next to a burial site, is Aborinal art over the top of Bradshaw |
