King George River
from Berkeley River, WA
August 2007
Back on board we headed upstream for the twin falls of the King George
Bigger, wider, this river is possibly older than the Berkeley because there is more sloping ground at the base of the cliffs
The Twin Falls
Oh my, looking down had my toes tingling, especially with the wind buffeting us though we clung to the huge rocks.

Compare this highly pixilated image of the King George in full flood
to how it was when we visited, and you'll appreciate the power and erosion occurring in the wet.
